Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a dynamic educational setting near Arlington, TX. This opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning September 1st and concluding May 20th, and encompasses 37.5 hours per week across several campuses—two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Key Qualifications:

Active Texas SLPA licensure is required. Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable. Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and other educational team members. Strong time management skills and organizational abilities. Must be able to provide required credentialing documents, including fingerprints and results from a drug screen.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students as directed by the supervising SLP. Support the implementation of individualized education program (IEP) goals within assigned campuses. Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress. Participate in team meetings and contribute to speech-language programming across different school levels. Communicate compassionately with students, staff, and families.
