Many SLPA jobs advertise attractive per-visit rates, but cancellations, open schedules, and growing caseloads can make your actual paycheck unpredictable. At Dallas Reading & Language Services , you get something different: guaranteed full-time pay, a clear path to $20/hour during your first year, productivity bonuses, team bonuses, and hands-on mentorship from experienced SLPs. Start with stability. Build your skills. Grow your income. Start With Stability Building a caseload takes time. Your paycheck shouldn't disappear while that happens. You'll receive: 40 paid hours per week Consistent hourly pay while your caseload is developing No lost hourly pay when clients cancel Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off 401(k) You can focus on becoming a great SLPA without worrying about every opening in your schedule. Compensation That Grows With You Your hourly paycheck is your foundation, not your ceiling. As your productivity increases, you can earn $20 for every productivity unit above 40 , on top of your regular hourly paycheck.
Example:
45 units = your regular paycheck + a $100 productivity bonus. Qualifying preparation and support work can also count toward productivity, so seeing clients isn't the only way to earn bonus units. You'll also have opportunities to receive additional team bonuses based on the performance of the practice. And while you're earning bonuses, your hourly rate follows a clear first-year growth path. New SLPAs entering the profession start at $16/hour and progress to $20/hour by the end of the first year as they successfully progress in the position:

The last two SLPAs from our practice who applied to graduate programs within the past year were both accepted and are now continuing their path toward becoming Speech-Language Pathologists. What You'll Do Provide pediatric speech, language, and reading therapy under SLP supervision Implement individualized treatment plans Collect data and monitor progress Prepare therapy materials and activities Collaborate with supervising SLPs and other team members Communicate professionally with children and families Complete documentation and support clinic workflows What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one Spanish-English bilingual skills strongly preferred Enjoys working with children and families Dependable, organized, and eager to learn Works well as part of a team Reliable transportation Availability for a full-time weekday schedule, including afternoon and early evening hours Don't have your SLPA license yet?
