Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within a school setting located in Rosenberg, TX. This position spans from August 11th through May 21st, offering a structured academic calendar that supports work-life balance. Caseload preferences will be thoughtfully considered to align with the candidate's strengths and interests, promoting a rewarding professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the speech-language pathologist in delivering therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. Support the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall support of student success.
Qualifications:
Experience or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, specifically in a school setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational staff. Ability to follow clinical protocols and work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist. Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.
