This full-time, itinerant role for the 26/27 school year offers the chance to work collaboratively with diverse school communities, making a direct impact on children's communication success. Skills and experience that will set you apart: Hold valid credentials or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with required state certification Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential for this position Previous experience in a school setting or working with K-12 age groups is preferred Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to travel between sites as assigned within the district Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families Commitment to fostering inclusive, culturally responsive support for students from diverse backgrounds Key responsibilities include: Delivering speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Supporting students with a variety of speech and language needs across a K-12, itinerant caseload (up to 30 hours/week) Collecting data and documenting student progress regularly Assisting with preparation of therapy materials and adapting resources to meet individual student needs Collaborating with educational staff to integrate therapy goals within the school day Traveling between school locations in the area as needed This role is ideal for an enthusiastic SLPA ready to champion communication growth among students who benefit from bilingual services.
