Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Experience working in a school environment, ideally with K-12 students Fluent in both spoken and written Spanish and English Adaptable and organized, comfortable with an itinerant schedule across multiple school sites Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Support students communication goals through evidence-based intervention and activities Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for a diverse K-12 population Document student progress and maintain accurate session records in accordance with district and state regulations Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistent support across academic settings Travel between assigned schools within the district as required by the itinerant nature of the assignment As you take on this fulfilling position, youll play an essential role in helping students reach their communication potentialwhile developing your own skills in a supportive educational environment.
