Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based position is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), with a preference for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), located in Hayward, WI. This contract role is within a Native American school environment, providing a unique opportunity to support students in a culturally rich educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP. Support the evaluation and documentation of student progress. Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to integrate speech-language goals into the classroom. Adapt therapy techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners, including bilingual students.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Experience working in school settings is required. SLPA certification required; preference given to candidates with SLP licensure. Bilingual proficiency in French is preferred. Experience or interest in supporting Native American student populations is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
