Precision Orthodontics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sterilization Technician to join our team! Perform routine checks on sterilization equipment and report any malfunctioning to the office manager. Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of sterilization supplies, ordering as needed. Ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control and safety practices within the dental office. Organize clean instruments and ensure that work areas are maintained in a tidy and sanitary condition. Work closely with dentists and dental hygienists to ensure instrument availability and readiness for procedures. Maintain accurate logs and documentation of sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification or training in sterilization or dental assisting is a plus. Previous experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of sterilization methods and infection control protocols. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities. Strong communication skills, with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
