The Sterile Processing Department Manager will lead operations at a 400+ bed, full-service hospital within a large and well established healthcare system. This high volume medical center provides comprehensive surgical, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and specialty services. The hospital is expanding into a new patient tower, making this an exciting opportunity for the Central Sterile Manager to help support growth, enhance workflows, and shape future operations. The Sterile Processing Department supports complex procedures across multiple operating rooms and procedural areas using modern equipment, rigorous infection prevention standards, and efficient processes that promote reliable surgical instrument availability and exceptional patient outcomes. The SPD Manager will report to The Nurse Director of Perioperative Services and receive support from collaborative clinical, operational, and executive leadership teams. Responsibilities include overseeing decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, staffing, budgeting, and department performance. The Sterile Processing Manager will guide staff development, optimize workflows, maintain accreditation readiness, and strengthen partnerships with perioperative services.
