Night Shift Position Summary:
The Certified Central Sterile Supply Technician collects, cleans, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments, trays and packs, reusable medical devices, and patient care equipment according to established standards and procedures to ensure sterile, functioning supply materials and equipment. The Certified CSS Tech understands microbiology and infection control standards.Minimum Qualifications:
Tech certification (IAHCSMM or CBSPDT) required; responsible for maintaining certification status Two years of Central sterile processing experience High school diploma or GED Excellent oral and written communication skills Basic computer skills required for the tracking system interface Ability to work within a fast-paced team-oriented settingPreferred Qualifications:
Good problem-solving and/or decision-making skills Ability to make independent decisions Ability to react and perform under strict timelines and/or emergency situations Able to maintain confidentiality at all times Demonstrates qualities that support professionalism and teamworkComprehensive Benefits Offered:
