Job Description

Per Diem Sterile Processing Technician The Advanced Center for Surgery is a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Vero Beach, performing outpatient procedures in Orthopedics and Neurology. We are an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International, providing first-class surgical services for our community, and we recognize our employees as our number one asset. If you share our mission, please reach out to discuss joining our team. We are currently searching for a motivated, hardworking Certified Sterile Processing Technician.
Position Responsibilities :
The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Qualifications :
Must be a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician High School Diploma or Equivalent 2-3 years experience as Instrument Room Technician. Experience with all types of sterilizers. Knows operating room instrumentation. Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray. Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer. Understands Sterrad sterilizers. Ability to prepare reports and keep records. Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required. USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
