Duties Greet guests and take orders accurately using the POS system Answer menu questions and guide guests through options when needed Manage the expo window, ensuring all orders are complete and accurate before being handed out Call out orders clearly and confirm guests receive the correct items Communicate with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly Organize tickets and maintain flow during high-volume periods Handle payments and provide excellent customer service throughout the interaction Keep the front counter, expo area, and dining touchpoints clean and organized Qualifications Previous cashier, front-of-house, or restaurant experience preferred Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure Attention to detail, especially when managing multiple orders at once Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Friendly, approachable personality with a customer-first mindset Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and events What We're Looking For Someone who can take ownership of the front line and keep things running smoothly A team player who communicates well with both guests and the kitchen A positive attitude and strong sense of urgency Why Work With Us Pepper & Salt BBQ at Hogan Yards is built around great food and great experiences.
