Support Technician, Sterile Processing

Inventories and restocks supplies on the unit, and obtains supplies and rental units. Provides support to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and caregivers by performing simple patient care activities. Performs various tasks and duties to provide assistance and support in an expanded Support Tech role to the staff in Surgical Services. Qualifications

REQUIRED

High School diploma or equivalent. Must hold American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.

PREFERRED

One (1) year of experience in a surgical services or other hospital clinical department. Experience as a Support Technician. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
