Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing/Instrument Technician experience. Previous Travel Healthcare experience is required . Knowledge of sterilization procedures, infection prevention, and instrument decontamination. HSPA (CRCST) or CBSPD (CSPDT) certification preferred. Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (No local candidates).
Roles & Responsibilities:
Reprocess, clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment. Prepare instrument trays according to hospital standards and surgical case requirements. Operate sterilization equipment while maintaining quality assurance and infection control protocols. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage before distribution.
