Job Description

A leading hospital in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians to join their team on a full-time basis! Both evening and night shift opportunities are available.

Evenings:

Full-time, 40 hours/week, 3:00pm-11:30pm; rotating weekends and holidays required

Nights:

Full-time, 40 hours/week, 11:00pm-7:30am; rotating weekends and holidays required

Base Pay:

$19.89 - $31/hr based on experience plus applicable shift differentials and full benefits (medical, dental, vision options, tuition reimbursement, paid parking, HSA, retirement options plus PTO and holiday pay) Provide the hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment Perform established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and surgical case cart setup Ensure quality sterile products are available to support patient care Follow established procedures to ensure completion of the decontamination process Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution and ensure items are accurately labeled by department

Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of related experience in sterile processing or operating room surgical instrumentation tech experience OR Hold active CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification in lieu of experience
