Sterile Processing Technician (Evening Shift)•Urbana, IL Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a 13-week contract assignment at a facility in Urbana, IL, with the potential for extension. This position offers a DAYS;M-F:
2pm-1030pm schedule, working from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with 40 approved hours per week. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sterile processing within healthcare settings and a commitment to patient safety and infection control.Job Details:

Eight plus (8) + years of experience Required Three to four (3-4) years of Travel experience. Required- Experience with Trays, Decontamination, and Sterilization
- Required Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
- Required Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Required Full

Decontaminate, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment. Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and proper maintenance. Assemble and package instrument trays, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Operate sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves and high-level disinfectors, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain compliance with infection control, sterilization standards, and hospital policies. Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of sterile supplies. Why Join Us?
