Olathe, KS Job Details PRN 23 hours ago Qualifications Employee relationship building Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Surgical Processing Technician The Sterile Processing Technician (SPD Tech) plays a critical role in supporting safe and efficient surgical and procedural operations. This position is responsible for the cleaning, decontamination, inspection, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment. The SPD Tech ensures that all sterile supplies are prepared and readily available for use, adhering to strict infection control standards and regulatory guidelines. Working closely with surgical and clinical teams, the SPD Tech helps maintain a clean, organized, and compliant environment that supports high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilitie s Clean and sterilize critical surgical and procedural instruments according to sterile processing protocols Prepare and maintain surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments for procedures Ensure compliance with sterile processing policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations Support the surgical team by assisting with various tasks as needed Cross-train and provide coverage in other functions or departments when necessary Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment Prioritize tasks effectively to manage competing demands Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of work Exhibit excellent communication and critical thinking skills Build and maintain positive working relationships with teammates, physicians, ancillary staff, and patients High School Diploma
