Central Sterile Processing Technician Location:

Type:

Full-Time (On-site) Position Overview Manage and maintain all aspects of the sterilization process to ensure high-quality, timely sterile supplies for surgical procedures in an ambulatory surgery center setting.

Key Responsibilities Sterilization & Decontamination:

Oversee all steps of the decontamination and sterilization process for surgical instruments and equipment.

OR Support:

Collaborate with the OR team to deliver sterile products on schedule and assist with room turnaround between procedures.

Schedule Monitoring:

Review daily surgery schedules to anticipate instrument and supply needs for upcoming cases.

Compliance & Documentation:

Maintain detailed equipment and sterilization records in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

2+ years of relevant sterile processing experience (hospital main OR experience preferred).

Certifications:

BCLS required. Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
