Job Description

About the Position Our growing orthodontic practice is looking for a Sterilization Technician to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly the same. Our practices in McMinnville and Newberg are state-of-the-art, fully digital offices committed to providing exceptional orthodontic care and an outstanding patient experience. What You'll Do Process, clean, and sterilize instruments before and after patient use. Turn over and prepare clinical chairs and equipment between patients. Set up instrument trays and assist with preparation for patient procedures. Assist our orthodontic lab create retainers as needed . Stock and organize clinical supplies. Perform routine clinical maintenance and monitoring as directed. Provide basic chairside clinical support as needed, including patient instructions, instrument setup, and patient charting. Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and office safety protocols. Help maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and welcoming clinical environment. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things correctly. Dependable, organized, and able to stay on task in a busy environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable working as part of a team. Ability to follow established protocols and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. Dental or orthodontic experience is preferred, but not required . Willingness to rotate between our McMinnville and Newberg locations . Schedule & Location Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Dental/orthodontic experience:
1 year preferred . We are willing to train the right candidate ! What We Offer $18.00-$19.00 per hour , based on experience. Part-time to full-time opportunity. Paid time off. Employee discount. Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
