We are searching for a detail-oriented, reliable Records / Sterilization Technician to join our growing clinical team and support both patient diagnostic records and infection control operations. About Vivid Orthodontics We operate three convenient locations (Oshkosh, Appleton, and Wautoma) to serve families across the Fox Valley and beyond. Position Summary The Records / Sterilization Technician plays a vital role in delivering a seamless, caring experience while upholding top safety standards. You will capture high-quality diagnostic records, manage digital imaging systems, maintain rigorous sterilization and infection control protocols, and support overall clinical flow.
Key Responsibilities Records Duties:
Welcome patients professionally and put them at ease during records appointments. Capture intraoral/extraoral photographs, digital X-rays, and intraoral scans. Accurately enter and maintain patient data in practice management and imaging software. Ensure all equipment (scanners, cameras, X-ray units) is clean, calibrated, and maintained.
Sterilization Duties:
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize orthodontic instruments using approved equipment and techniques. Disinfect operatories and maintain clinical cleanliness between patient visits. Keep sterilization and treatment areas well-stocked, organized, and prepped. Help monitor and maintain inventory of infection control supplies.
Team & Safety Support:
Strictly adhere to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA protocols for safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality. Collaborate closely with doctors and the clinical team to support smooth treatment planning and daily appointment flow. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic setting is a plus, but not required (we will train the right person!). Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask. Quick learner with comfort using dental imaging, software, and sterilization equipment. Outstanding communication skills with children and adults. Friendly, upbeat, dependable, and a true team player. What We Offer A fun, family-like team culture rooted in positivity and care. Hours Full-time position:
Monday-Thursday + Friday mornings as needed.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
