Certification Healthcare infection prevention and control expertise Dental terminology Disinfection procedures Dental equipment Operating medical imaging equipment Oral surgery Surgical instrument sterilization and handling Full Job Description Traveling Oral Surgeon seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant for 3 days a moth 2 Fridays in an office in Chino Hills, CA and 1 Saturday in an office in Whittier, CA Responsibilities Chairside assisting for extractions, implants, bone grafting, and IV sedation Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments Monitor vital signs during procedures and postoperatively Take digital X-rays and 3D scans Follow HIPAA and infection control protocols Requirements Prior oral surgery assisting experience (required) Strong knowledge of sterilization and aseptic technique Proficient with dental terminology and imaging systems
