Job Description
At Summit Oral and Facial Surgery , we are a newer oral surgery office in the Fresno area. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care in a professional, compassionate, and efficient environment. We are looking for an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant to join our new and growing team and help deliver top-tier surgical experiences to our patients. Position Overview The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized professional with strong communication skills and a passion for patient care. You will work closely with the surgeon and clinical team to assist in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, from preparation through post-op follow-up. Key Responsibilities Assist oral surgeon with all clinical procedures, including extractions, implants, bone grafting, and sedation cases. Prepare and maintain surgical rooms, instruments, and materials for each procedure. Take and process radiographs (CBCT, panoramic, PA). Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Provide clear pre- and post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes. Support sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards.
