About You:

You're highly organized, detail-driven, and love keeping things running smoothly. You're proactive and ready to jump in wherever needed, whether that's in the exam room, OR suite, or at the front desk. You're tech-savvy, especially with MacOS and iPads, and quick to learn new platforms (our EMR is Apple-based). You thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and understand how to bring compassion and calm to patient care. You have hands-on experience assisting with surgical or aesthetic procedures, such as injectables, laser treatments, or in-office surgery, and are comfortable in a sterile, clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist surgeon and providers with in-office procedures, minor surgeries, and pre/post-op patient care. Obtain medical records and take detailed patient histories in our EHR system. Prepare and stock exam rooms, maintain supplies, and assist with inventory management. Set up sterile trays and handle surgical instruments to maintain a sterile, organized operating environment. Take and manage patient pre- and post-op photographs. Support check-in and check-out processes and maintain accurate patient records. Educate patients on pre- and post-procedural care, ensuring they understand the process and aftercare requirements. Stay current with HIPAA and OSHA regulations to maintain a compliant practice. Deliver compassionate, professional communication with patients and their families.

Requirements:

Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program, highly preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting; surgical or aesthetic experience strongly preferred. Understanding of clinical pharmacology, medical terminology, and patient care. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
