About the role

Responsibilities

Be warm and welcoming to patients and staff

Turn off Alarm System (0809)

Turn on general lights (switch in doctor's office)

Clock in

Turn on Water Switch

Check all operatories and prepare for the first procedures according to protocol:

Instruments

Handpieces

Burs

Implant Units

X-rays/CT scan

Review health history with patient, Take BP and pulse, chart and have all screens open to appropriate place for doctor

Assist Doctor with procedures, give proper follow up instructions to patients

Timely checkup phone calls the day after surgery to all surgical patients

Maintain implant logs

Ensure all consent forms for surgery are properly filled out and signed

Stickers from Biomaterials (Bone, Implants, Membrane, Dermis, Emdogain etc.) are properly adhered to sticker sheet and given to front for scanning

Stock operatory room with necessary equipment

Masks

Gloves

Gauze

Anesthetic

Needles

Empty Autoclaves and place instruments in place

Clean operatories as needed

Run Autoclaves as needed

Weekly spore testing

Prepare ahead of time for next day's schedule

Ordering supplies ahead of anticipated surgeries

Learn and take digital impressions on Trios 3shape

Learn and process 3D Printing of models

ACLS certification

Ensure all notes are entered and done every day prior to leaving

Turn off general lights

Clock out

Turn on Alarm (making sure the front door is locked)
