Job Description
Surgical Aide Performs a variety of technical, environmental and patient care duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships
- Organizational skills
- Maintains BLS validation
- Knowledge of proper English, spelling grammar and medical terminology
- Ability to greet and serve visitors in a manner conducive to positive customer relations
- Demonstrates effective communication skills with physicians and ancillary departments
- Proficiency in operating a computer and utilizing various software
