THE ROLE

We need an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant with at least 1 year of dental surgery experience (implant experience strongly preferred). You'll support our implant surgery team by ensuring seamless operations, exceptional patient care, and meticulous case coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as surgical assistant for dental implant procedures (single, multiple, full arch)
• Prepare operatory setups and maintain sterile environment
• Manage implant/surgical inventory (abutments, bone grafts, sutures, instruments)
• Coordinate with labs for surgical guides, temporaries, and finals
• Provide pre-op instructions and compassionate post-op follow-up calls
• Track cases from intake to completion with accurate documentation
• Manage patient consents and ensure patients feel informed and cared for
• Maintain instruments through sterilization protocols
• Support team members and participate in continuing education

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Minimum 1 year dental surgery experience CDA, EFDA, or equivalent certification CPR/BLS certified Strong organizational and communication skills

Detail-oriented Preferred:

3+ years surgical/implant experience Case management skills Leadership ability Heart for serving with compassion
