Position Purpose:

The Customer Service Assistant (CSA) serves as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The CSA functions in the spirit of teamwork, is accountable for teamwork and communication within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization.

What you will do:

Acts as liaison between family and clinical staff Directs people to appropriate destination in a tactful and professional manner Provides support for patients before treatment and at discharge as directed by charge nurse or leadership Assists with transporting patients into and out of Center/ Department as necessary Effectively utilizes computer systems appropriate to area Practices proper identification procedures Understands and responds appropriately to emergency broadcast within the hospital/department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in dealing with customer service Effective Communication Skills Demonstrates effective inter-personal skills Demonstrates priority setting, organizational skills and the ability to remain calm under stressful situations
