Uphold strict infection control standards through proper aseptic techniques and adherence to hospital policies to prevent cross-contamination or infection spread. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by analyzing clinical data related to patient outcomes and procedural efficiency. Skills Proven experience working in hospital environments with exposure to medical-surgical units, ICU settings, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or emergency medicine departments. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and critical care practices essential for supporting complex surgeries. Skilled in suturing techniques and handling various surgical instruments with precision. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or other hospital-specific platforms for accurate record-keeping. Ability to interpret vital signs accurately and respond swiftly during emergencies or critical situations. Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques necessary for maintaining a sterile environment. Excellent analysis skills for assessing patient needs quickly and effectively during high-pressure scenarios. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications like Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are advantageous. Experience working within Level I Trauma Centers or hospitals specializing in emergency medicine is highly preferred. Strong understanding of hospital medicine practices including discharge planning for optimal patient recovery outcomes.
