Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Surgical/Periodontal Registered Dental Assistant to join our start-up specialty practice. In this role, you will provide chairside assistance during surgical and periodontal procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and patient management will contribute to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills and leadership as we build a high-tech, high-touch start-up practice together. Duties Assist the periodontist during surgical, sedation, periodontal, and hygiene procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and the treatment area Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention management and aseptic techniques to maintain clinical confidentiality policies and uphold patient safety standards Take and develop dental x-rays, including 3D scans, while ensuring proper radiation safety protocols are followed Manage patient records accurately using the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems including documenting vital signs and medical history Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to sterilization procedures, maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment Educate patients on oral health care, post-operative instructions, and procedural details using clear dental terminology Support patient management by updating medical documentation, and assisting with general patient care needs Join us in delivering outstanding dental care by combining your technical skills with compassionate patient service!
