Essential Responsibilities:

Create a warm and welcoming environment for patients Register and check patients in and out Collect payments and balance funds collected at the end of the day Schedule appointments in person and over the phone Facilitate flow of patients by coordinating with staff Accomplish other front office tasks such as faxes, mail, etc.as needed Respond in a timely manner and follow up to patients' needs, inquiries Explain procedures and respond to patient questions in a professional, friendly manner Maintain communication with team members Update and file medical records Accept and stock deliveries, help maintain inventory Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Room patients and monitor clinic flow Assist in the OR as needed Light cleaning Skills Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Degree in medical assistance preferred
