We are actively seeking a qualified and experienced full-time Surgical Technologist/SPD Technician to join our dedicated clinical team. CSSC is honored to be regarded as one of Arizona's leading ASCs where we prioritize providing safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. CSSC partners with over 10 surgeons, offering our patients a tailored healthcare journey that caters to their individual needs and preferences, ensuring an outstanding experience. As a Surgical Technologist/SPD Technician at CSSC, you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Serving as a surgical technologist/scrub in plastic surgery cases, including participation in complex cases as needed. Prepare the operating room by assembling surgical packs, instruments, and supplies according to department procedures and surgeon preference. Ensure sterility of all supplies and instruments during setup and throughout the procedure; monitor aseptic technique, immediately reporting and correcting any breaks in sterility. Work collaboratively with physicians in the Operating Room, preparing surgical equipment and assisting surgeons before, during, and after the surgical procedure. Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. Conduct sponge, needle, and instrument count pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and prior to closure in collaboration with the circulating nurse. Manage and maintain adequate surgical supply levels; restock rooms at the end of shift and perform monthly inventory of supplies, durable equipment, and medications. Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments, medical supplies, and equipment, and assembles, wraps, and sterilizes trays of instruments. Follows proper Standards Precautions while in decontamination and sterilization areas. Monitors biological and chemical wash solution to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment. Providing an outstanding experience for our patients by providing patient-centered care and implementing adopted CSSC Policies and Procedures. Job Qualifications:

(3) years of experience Operating Room Scrub Tech (Perfered)

License & Certification Requirements:

Surgical Technologist Certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Physical Requirements:

Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
