Travel assignment (rotating schedule, specifics to be provided during interview process)

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED (required) Associate's/Technical degree or equivalent combined education and experience (preferred) Previous scrub technician or OR experience/training course (preferred) Valid Surgery Technician certification (preferred) Current BLS certification from an approved vendor, such as AHA or ARC (required) CNA certification (preferred)

Responsibilities:

Prepare surgical cases by checking all supplies and equipment in advance Assemble operative instrumentation and maintain a sterile field Assist with instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts alongside the RN Perform housekeeping and clerical support duties Transport patients as directed and maintain equipment cleanliness Collect case data and ensure all labeling follows established standards Adhere strictly to aseptic and safety protocols at all times Other related tasks as assigned
