1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with cataract and ENT experience for a hospital operating room position. Details Certified OR Tech/CST role in a hospital surgical services department Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM Call requirement of 4 hours, twice per week Requirements BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required CST certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience required Cataract and ENT surgical experience required CA state license required if applicable 2 professional references obtained within the past year required Additional Information Support surgical procedures with a focus on cataract and ENT cases Maintain aseptic technique, radiation safety, and sharps safety standards Perform specimen handling and labeling per protocol First-time travelers may be considered Returning employees must have a minimum 1-year separation before returning as a traveler Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
