1 Description American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification. Details Community hospital OR/Surgical Tech unit with Trauma Level I and II experience preferred 5x8 day shift schedule with variable start times of 0700-1530, 0900-1730, or 1100-1930 Epic EMR experience required May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience required, 2+ years preferred, with 5+ years preferred BLS certification required NBSTSA certification preferred Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission, if applicable Community hospital experience preferred Trauma Level I and II experience preferred 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Perform surgical technologist duties across a range of specialties including vascular, gynecology, neuro, cardiovascular, general, and orthopedic surgery Experience with robotics (including Da Vinci systems), endoscopic procedures, and specialized instrumentation is a plus Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or registry/per-diem staff, including location and dates Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process First-time travelers may be considered
