Sr. Surgical Technologist - OR (East Bay) University of California San Francisco - 4.1 Oakland, CA Job Details Full-time 6 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification OR experience Acute care experience Full Job Description As a Senior Surgical Technologist, you will be an integral part of the surgical team, ensuring the smooth operation of procedures. With a primary focus on pediatric care, you will work across various surgical suites and special procedure rooms, utilizing your expertise in multiple surgical specialties. Your role is crucial in maintaining a high standard of patient care and a harmonious work environment. This position requires flexibility to work across various UCSF Medical Center locations, including the Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and Walnut Creek.
Required Qualifications:
Two years recent scrubbing clinical experience in an acute care operating room Recent experience (within last two years) scrubbing in at least three service lines: General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Orthopedics/Spine, Otolaryngology/Airway, Plastics, or Cardiac Demonstrated proficiency in at least two surgical specialties Active American Heart Association (AHA) CPR Certification for healthcare providers High School Diploma; or equivalent experience Graduate of a surgical technologist training program; or equivalent experience The flexibility to work and orient at all UCSF Health locations
Preferred Requirements:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist. Pediatric experience desired
License/Certifications:
Active American Heart Association (AHA) CPR Certification for healthcare providers
