Experience Required:
Minimum two years of operating room experience.Preferred:
Expertise in one (1) specialty.Education Required:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent. Graduate of Surgical Technology program or military training.Preferred:
College coursework with Associate or Bachelor's degree.Specialized Skills Required:
Able to relate and communicate in English professionally with others; respect policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; accept direction. Think critically; work independently; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work collaboratively with surgical team and in setting up and cleaning between cases.Licensure Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Preferred:
Certified Surgical Tech. Work EnvironmentsFunctional Demand:
Medium- High energy level Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Push/pull +
