1 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) for a 13-week travel contract in Santa Rosa, California. The ideal candidate will have strong Operating Room experience in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotics, and Trauma . Trauma OR experience is a

requirement. Candidates without trauma experience will not be considered. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience , with 5 years preferred. Previous travel experience is required.

Experience in: Orthopedics Neurosurgery Vascular Robotics Trauma Acute care hospital experience Strong sterile technique and surgical instrumentation knowledge Scrub experience Case cart experience Crash cart experience Ability to work in a fast-paced Operating Room environment Ability to float to nearby facilities as required Must be comfortable with call, weekends, variable shift times, and schedule changes based on unit needs

Certifications Required:

BLS CST - Certified Surgical Technologist NBSTSA certification Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures. Perform sterile scrub duties and maintain strict aseptic technique. Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, supplies, and case carts. Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures. Perform accurate surgical counts of instruments, sponges, needles, and supplies. Provide support for Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Robotic, General, GU, and GYN procedures. Set up and operate surgical equipment, including laparoscopic and arthroscopic systems. Assist with emergency and trauma cases, including MVA, gunshot/stab wounds, and amputations. Maintain proper sterilization, disinfection, infection-control, and isolation procedures. Follow Universal Protocol and surgical time-out requirements. Handle surgical instruments safely and efficiently. Maintain and organize surgical supplies and equipment.
