Are you a driven Certified Surgical Tech ready to advance your career in a robust surgical department in California?

Join a mission-driven, non-profit, faith-based, 120+ bed hospital in Northern California Wine Country as a Certified Surgical Technologist CST providing exceptional, patient-centered surgical care. This highly regarded regional hospital is known for clinical excellence, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Grounded in compassion and service, its faith-based mission fosters a warm, collaborative culture throughout every department. State-of-the-art technology and evidence-based practices help caregivers achieve outstanding outcomes. You will benefit from strong leadership, extensive support resources, and a dedication to continuous improvement and professional development.

The large, high-volume surgical services department features 8 OR suites designed to promote efficiency and safety. The surgical department manages a diverse case mix that includes general surgery, orthopedics with total joints, cardiothoracic/open heart, endoscopy/GI, and close coordination with the cardiac catheterization lab. Reporting to the Operating Room Nurse Manager, the CST works closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative colleagues to provide seamless care. Primary responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sterile fields, confirming that instruments and equipment are available and functioning properly, and anticipating surgeon needs during procedures. The CST Surgical Technologist completes accurate counts, handles specimens, and assists with efficient room turnovers to support on-time starts and patient safety. Strict adherence to aseptic technique, infection prevention, and regulatory standards is required, as is flexibility for call, weekend, and holiday rotations when needed.

Surrounded by vineyards, redwood forests, and rolling hills, Northern California Wine Country provides beautiful scenery and a relaxed, inviting community. The CST will appreciate farm-to-table dining, lively markets, celebrated wineries, and a flourishing arts scene. Abundant outdoor recreation includes hiking, cycling, river activities, and convenient access to the Pacific Coast. Nearby proximity to the Bay Area also offers easy access to major airports, cultural attractions, and more weekend adventures.
