PRN or Part-Time Modern Surgical Arts of Denver is seeking an experienced and dependable Surgical Technologist to join our boutique cosmetic surgery practice. This position may be structured as either consistent PRN shifts or a part-time role, depending on the candidate's availability and career goals. Our primary surgery days are Mondays and Wednesdays, with additional Tuesday cases a few times each month. We offer flexibility with scheduling while seeking someone who can provide reliable and consistent availability for the shifts they accept. Responsibilities Prepare the operating room before surgical procedures Pull supplies and instruments for upcoming cases Assist the surgeon and surgical team during cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures Maintain the sterile field and follow proper sterile technique Anticipate the surgeon's needs throughout each procedure Perform accurate surgical counts according to facility protocols Properly clean, decontaminate, package, and sterilize surgical instruments Organize instruments and maintain surgical trays Stock the operating room and monitor surgical supply levels Assist with operating room turnover and cleaning between cases Review the upcoming surgical schedule to ensure the operating room is fully prepared Complete assigned administrative and preparation hours outside of active surgical cases Qualifications Minimum of one year of operating room experience required Cosmetic or plastic surgery experience strongly preferred; experience in a comparable surgical specialty will also be considered Thorough knowledge of sterile technique, infection prevention, and surgical instrumentation Experience properly cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments Ability to remain organized, attentive, and efficient in a fast-paced environment Dependable, professional, and able to provide consistent availability Strong communication and teamwork skills Surgical Technologist certification preferred Part-Time Benefits Candidates interested in a regular part-time position may be eligible for: Paid time off Employee discounts on eligible services and treatments Health insurance access Opportunities for professional development and career growth Administrative hours for case preparation, instrument organization, sterilization, stocking, and upcoming schedule preparation A supportive, team-oriented environment Experience with advanced technology and cosmetic surgical procedures We are open to candidates seeking either dependable PRN shifts or a more consistent part-time position.
