Key Responsibilities:

Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries. Sterilizing equipment and instruments. Stocking adequate supplies for surgery. Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites. Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies. Tracking surgical supplies. Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures. Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements - Required and/or

Preferred Experience :

Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist License(s ): Licensed as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado required. Certification(s) : Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association. Computer /

Typing :

Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for jobspecific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. #HC1
