FULL TIME
day shift opportunities. 3x10s or 4x10s Day shift, No call, No weekends, No holidays Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and organizing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment, including medical equipment sterilization and handling surgical instruments. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, suturing wounds, and managing surgical tools with precision and efficiency. Monitor patient vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate throughout procedures to ensure stability. Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections during all phases of surgery. Qualifications Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program is required; current certification must be maintained throughout employment. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program Current BLS certification Proven experience in outpatient surgery settings or ambulatory surgery centers is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and surgical procedures across various specialties Hands-on experience with medical equipment operation and sterilization techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment.
Pay:
$38.00 - $46.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
