Key responsibilities include:
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment Serve as the primary scrub technician during surgical procedures Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and surgical team Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures Assist with surgical room preparation and turnover Ensure instruments and equipment are properly handled and maintained Work collaboratively with nurses, surgeons, and other members of the surgical team Support a high standard of patient safety and quality care What We're Looking For Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist program preferred Certified Surgical Technologist preferred Current BLS certification required Surgery center-based Surgical Technician experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to sterile technique Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced, collaborative surgical team Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach Join the Coastal Team At Coastal Orthopedics, you won't just be filling a position—you'll be joining a team that is committed to excellence in patient care, professional growth, teamwork, and making a difference every day.
