Summary:

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse provides technical support during nursing care of the surgical patient according to the Standards of Practice and policies of the hospital and department to ensure effective departmental services. Performs technical skills independently for different specialties.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Graduate from an approved technical/vocational program for surgical technicians.

Experience:

Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred

Credentials:
