Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Nationally Certified Surgical Technician in Miami, FL with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.

Duties:

Assist surgeons and other surgical team members during surgical procedures. Prepare, organize, and maintain the sterile field, instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for each procedure. Maintain strict aseptic and infection-control techniques throughout surgical procedures. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide the appropriate instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures. Operate, clean, process, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment according to established procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Assist with planning and implementing complex surgical procedures based on patient condition and surgical team needs.

Job Requirements:

National Surg Tech Certification:

CST

• Certified Surgical Technologist /or/ TS-C
• Tech in Surgery BLS

• American Heart Association Job Qualifications:

  Completion of US based surgical technologist program 2-3 years' experienced as CST
• MUST HAVE recent experience in complex neuro or ortho cases (joint / spine fusions)
