Job Description

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Desired Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Nursing - ORT credentials required Current CPR certification Prior experience in a surgical/operating room setting preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow aseptic technique Solid communication skills for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams Ability to handle instruments and equipment with care and precision
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain operating room for surgical procedures according to established protocols Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies prior to procedures Assist surgeons and nurses during surgeries by anticipating their needs and passing instruments Account for all surgical instruments and supplies before, during, and after procedures Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards Provide support in patient positioning and observation during procedures Assist with room turnover and restocking to ensure surgical suites are ready for subsequent cases Document information and activities accurately per facility requirements This contract position allows you to apply your clinical skills within a respected healthcare setting, with the ability to expand your professional experience.
