What You'll Do:

Provide specialized nursing care for post-surgical patients recovering from abdominal, colorectal, urological, orthopedic, or plastic surgeries. Monitor vital signs, manage surgical drains, and assist with wound care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation in Epic electronic medical records. Rotate weekends and adhere to hospital policies including float requirements to other post-surgical and medical floors.

Valid Kansas or Multistate RN license (no hits allowed) 1+ year of progressive care or stepdown experience BLS certification through AHA (current at time of submission) Ability to work 12-hour shifts and flexible with weekend rotation Strong critical thinking and patient care skills Clear communication and teamwork abilities About the
