Job Description

Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled healthcare professional to provide support in a dynamic surgical setting. This position requires an experienced individual with strong competency in both nursing and certified surgical technology. You will play a vital role in assisting surgical teams and ensuring optimal operating room procedures.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT, CST) Demonstrated experience as a Surgical Tech in an operating room environment Proficiency in aseptic techniques and surgical instrumentation Strong understanding of hospital protocols and patient safety practices Ability to communicate effectively with staff, surgeons, and patients Current BLS certification Attention to detail and reliability in a fast-paced surgical setting
Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment before procedures Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries by handling instruments and supplies Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique throughout all surgical procedures Monitor inventory and organize surgical instruments for upcoming cases Ensure that operating rooms are clean, stocked, and properly configured for each case Support surgical team members before, during, and after procedures Properly handle specimens, documentation, and patient data
