Qualifications/Experience:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required; CVOR experience highly preferred Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum one year of recent CVOR Tech experience in a hospital or surgical setting Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring adherence to strict aseptic techniques Assist surgical staff with procedures, passing instruments and managing equipment specific to CVOR cases Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to optimize patient outcomes Evaluate equipment inventory and ensure readiness for all surgical procedures Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols
