Certified Surgical Technologist - Operating Room (Travel)
Location:
2475 Broadway, Helena, MT 59601
Contract Length:
13 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a 13-week travel assignment in Helena, Montana. The ideal candidate will have strong Operating Room experience with a heavy orthopedic background and be comfortable assisting with a variety of elective and emergent surgical procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Surgical Technologist experience Previous travel assignment experience is required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Heavy Total Joint and Orthopedic surgery experience is required Experience assisting with elective and emergent surgical procedures Experience in the following specialties: Orthopedics Orthopedic Spine Gynecology Robotic Surgery Urology General Surgery ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and maintaining a sterile field Preferred Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures. Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies. Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating procedural needs. Maintain a sterile field throughout each procedure. Perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts according to policy. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team. Adhere to all infection control, safety, and hospital policies.
