Plastic Surgery Practice, PRN Education:

Graduate of an approved program in Surgical Technology and certification as a Surgical Technologist. BSL Certified.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Duties Include:

Surgical Tech will work under the supervision of Dr. Gregg to facilitate all aspects of in-office invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures, maintaining a safe OR environment. Surgical Tech is responsible for ensuring that equipment functions properly, the OR is a safe, sterile environment, patient safety is maximized, all equipment and supplies are provided for the surgeon, and the OR is both set up and broken down in compliance with all safety regulations. Surgical Tech will function as a scrub person on the surgical team. Suturing and plastic surgery experience is preferred. This office team is made up of exceptional professionals who are willing to go "above and beyond" to help each other and ensure patient safety is paramount. Cynthia Gregg MD, Face and Body Specialists employs a team of highly trained and skilled OR staff and is seeking a PRN CST to work in our fully accredited procedural suite for in-office surgeries when our staff CST is out of the office. PRN needs are scheduled with ample notice and generally involve 2-3 days/week of cases. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced CST who works PRN for practices in the area.
