Job Description
Overview The Surgical Technologist II, Labor and Delivery is an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical and patient care. Functions under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Assists with patients in triage. Assists with the breakdown, and instrument care in the Labor and Delivery deck area.
